Winnsboro escape

This three-structure hunting lodge-inspired retreat was a collaboration with Catalyst Architects and Matthew Brothers Construction. A generous use of brick, wood and stone inside and out give the home an unmistakable modern barn feel. Reclaimed wood for ceilings, walls and custom cabinetry impart tone and texture. Furnishings in leather, mohair, linen, sisal and wool in earth tones along with lighting, hardware and plumbing fixtures in copper, brass and oil-rubbed bronze were incorporated to complement the masculine aesthetic.
