Melissa Ervin
Founder

A native of South Carolina, Melissa followed a love for art and creative endeavors to Clemson University, where she earned a degree in design. Following graduation, she gained her architectural license while working in the field for the next decade. Her strong interest of interiors led her to add interior design to her repertoire.  She spent the next 10 years working at several significant interior design firms before she founded Melissa Ervin Interior Design in 2008. A registered architect and NCIDQ certified designer, her background in both architecture and design proves to be a great asset in establishing the bones of a space on which to build interiors. 

Melissa lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband and two labs. Away from work, they enjoy traveling and spending time with their 2 adult children in Charleston.

Kimberly Keathley
senior DESIGNER

Kimberly Keathley joined the firm in 2017, bringing with her a decade of experience in Charleston’s competitive design industry. She began her career in high-end residential architecture, where she spent several years honing her craft before transitioning her focus to interior design.

Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Clemson University and brings a strong technical foundation in construction, paired with a passion for creating thoughtfully tailored spaces that reflect each client’s unique style and vision. 

Away from the office, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Mary Virginia Ervin
junior Designer

Charleston native Mary Virginia Ervin spent 2 years in logistics with Hampden Clothing where she developed a love for fine fabrics and honed skills for organization and productivity. A keen sense of style, attention to detail along with her passion for space planning makes her a natural addition to our residential design team.

Mary Virginia lives in West Ashley with her dog and cat.

Covell Rogers
Office Manager

Covell Rogers earned her degree in architecture from the University of Virginia and has built her career working with several local architectural and interior design firms. Since stepping into the role of Office Manager in 2022, she has overseen accounts payable and receivable, as well as monthly billing operations.

Covell lives on James Island with her husband, Drake. They have three sons who live nearby and are proud grandparents to a grandson. Away from work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.
