Melissa Ervin Interior Design collaborated with Bill Huey Architects and Sheppard Construction to create a livable, contemporary home on Charleston’s Intracoastal Waterway for a family of four. Thoughtful selections—tile, stone, cabinetry, and fixtures—remain simple and functional, while butted board walls, reclaimed beams, grass wallpaper, and a brick hearth provide texture. Neutral upholstery allows for colorful accents from pillows and unique wooden Asian pieces, and linen sheers and grass shades frame stunning marsh views.
